Regulations & Compliance – O‘ahu Minimum Stay
Minimum Stay Requirement
In accordance with the Land Use Ordinance of Honolulu County (O‘ahu), short-term vacation rentals are required to have a minimum stay of 30 consecutive nightsunless located in a permitted resort zone. This property fully complies with this regulation.
While a 2025 bill (CO 25‑02 / Bill 62) proposed extending this minimum to 90 nights, it is currently blocked and unenforced. Therefore, 30 nights remains the effective minimum.
This Property’s Compliance
Our property strictly follows the legal requirements. We:
- • Accept only bookings of 30 nights or longer.
- • Refuse reservations shorter than the legal minimum.
- • Monitor ongoing changes to Hawaiian rental laws.
